I am getting ready to redo my craft room yet again. It is so hard to get it just right since it is the smallest bedroom in my house (9x10) and it doubles as my guest room. So, I have a twin bed in there, and a TON of scrapbook stuff. I have tried everything imaginable to no avail.

So, now I am putting up two 8 foot shelves above my work area to put stuff on. Getting rid of the two drawer lateral file cabinet. It currently holds my 81/2 x 11 card stock in the top drawer and my household tools (hammers, screws, etc.) in the bottom drawer. I am going to sort through all the tools and get rid of a bunch of stuff. Lets face it, if it needs fixed I'm calling the handyman anyway. The other purpose for the lateral file is it holds my homemade scraprack. I will just have to find a new home for that.

I hope that when I am finished I can get back to the task of actually scrapbooking. Right know I have a plastic tub FULL of projects that need to be scrapped.

Once I get it all done, I will share a photo.

Wish me luck on my endevor.

Bookworm

this is a bookworm from the Silhouette store that I did for a back to school swap. I attached his head and book with pop dots to give him more dimention.

Autumn title

This is a title I did with my Silhouette for a swap. I started out with a leaf image from the Silhouette store. Then I typed my words. Offset the words and the leaf. Welded the backgrounds for the leaf and the words "fall into" . Then did a smaller offset and cut it in black.

This is a mini album I made to send to the hostess of a swap I participated in as a hostess gift.

I love the way it turned out (almost hate to give it away).

I made the covers out of the back cover of a paper pack. Had to cut it four times on my Silhouette to get a clean cut. The bird cage butterfly and cover papers were all cut with the Silhouette. For the butterfly I used a piece of paper from the Die Cuts With a View Premium Stack paper pack "the Natural matstack". The page I used from the stack had a foil look to it. I couldn't believe how great the Silhouette cut that paper. I added ribbon and flowers and cut plain white pages inside for her to fill up. I scored the area at the top in case she wants to glue the pages together at the top and then it will fold easy to look at it when she finishes.

I hope she likes it.

File folders I did for a 4 seasons swap. Winter and fall are my favorites. On the summer, I used pink card stock for the folder, cut out grass, cloud, sun, tree, picnic table and swingset (the swingset is my own design) from my silhouette. The fall one I used brown for the folder, inked green paper to make the background cut the tree with my Silhouette and punched the leaves from a mini punch (boy my hand hurt after doing enough for 1o folders). Spring I used purple for the folder, cut the cloud, rain, butterflies, fence and flowers with my silhouette. I used a glitter pen to do flight paths for the butterflies. Winter I used red for the folder cut the north wind, snow ground, BRRRR and the snowman with my Silhouette (the snowman was my own designish. I found a snowman image and turned it into a cut file. I did the same thing with the north wind). The snow flakes are made with ice cycle stickles.
